I have been picking these up as well, some are darker gold and some lighter but I don't know if it is gold or not. I can't believe it would be brass...anyone know?

just bought a remote off ebay for $13, so there is a market. (prices ranged from the low of $13 to $34)
picked up a blue-ray player the other week at a yard sale for $3. figured I'd have a spare...
did you try selling any of them? I just had to buy one for a blue ray player, they go for $13-$35. still looking for a Dennon remote for an amp. not willing to spend the $80 they go for on...

I scrapped a couple old O-scopes, first one I didn't realize was gold. the last one, I let the board sat outside over the winter with some other low grade stuff and the...
cool, been a long time since I've seen the old large hard drive platters like that! (since college around '90 I think).
can't wait to see the boards
not usually, the machine at the grocery store can't read the barcode and I don't get my 10 cents...for any other aluminum can that isn't returnable, yes. stomp them. they fit better in the tubs and...
now that's an idea. stack shipping containers like bricks, 2 high. fill with cement. hell, fill with used tires, then use cement to fill the gaps in the tires. nice cheap wall, and gets rid of god...
I would guess low to mid grade for the ones with SMC, surface mount stuff is not "old"...the other one with the larger IC chips is probably mid-grade, Hughes is newer sat equipment as well...the...
late as well, but ditto what Sodella said. I worked in plastic injection for a while, we were always getting rid of empty gaylords. most went into recycle but $5 or so you could have as many as you...
half way between GR and Kalamazoo...close enough to hear the slot machines, IYKWIM...
welcome from a fellow W. Michigander!
agree with above. I have a high end Denon receiver I bought that is pretty much useless without the remote. the remotes for them sell online for double what I paid for the receiver!!
what exactly is fake about them? are they not really solar panels or are they defective or what? (can't play the video at work).
I 2nd the cheap solar yard lights from the dollar store. the panels...
I didn't read the article yet but I am betting it is an old wood console tv, the big 25" jobs with the hardboard screw on back...I used to hide certain periodicals there when I was a kid IYKWIM...
for rims, I knew a scrapper that took a log splitter and fashioned a double splitting edge. put the tire on and it crushed the rim enough to pull the tire off by hand. that way he got the steel price...
I've always thought the same thing, there's gotta be something to do with these things.
I do know they mix ground tires into asphalt for road surfacing, but not here, I believe only certain...
I picked up the same score, 20+ touch screens, thumbprint readers, CC readers and printers, couple of servers and the main POS terminal with a very high end mobo and drives in it. all works, but...
glad you are getting it worked out, but just an FYI, they email you the receipt even in the retail stores...first thing they ask is if you receive their coupons, phone # and get you on their mailing...
why not ask her for the receipt?? who doesn't keep a receipt on a gift? not to mention HF emails you the receipt as well as the hard copy...
I just scrapped a Sun autotune machine that was supposedly powered by a 286 IBM. it was from early to mid-80's and has lots and lots of computer boards, some gold.
are you interested in any of...
true arcade monitors have different refresh rates than a tv. I use TV's because they are a lot cheaper and can be made compatible with a video card with tv-out (usually S-video) much easier than an...
if they are decent brands and not homeowner junk, sell for parts.
I've got an expensive Milwaukee hammer drill that one of the brushes broke. new brush is $35 from them, so I've been looking for...
bead sealer is liquid rubber. black and sticky. it can be a pain. or someone could have actually put rtv silicone or something on it to stop a rim leak.
either way, my tire machine will take them...
I always grab key fobs I find at the u-pick junkyard, usually they are all for sale up at the office but you still find them occasionally. have a pretty good box going to sell.
as for the big $$,...
