Got 200 lb. Took to scrap dealer they said if i clean them up they will give me #2 price. Got paper and tape all over them. Any tips and tricks?

Thanks guys, die cast with zinc has a different darker more metallic color than alum.

So wonder why that is? I would think cast aluminum would have a lot of impurities?

thanks I did some HID ballasts that was potted and did the freezer trick it works still a lot of work.

Any value in fluorescent ballasts?:))
