I scrapped about 20+ of them. Some had bad capacitors. But they had great video editing software built into them, so I kept a couple.
I find my little hanging scales ( with a spring inside them ) are pretty accurate to give me a good idea if I am over a certain weight.
Like they weigh up to 12 Kgs. I put my metal into plastic...
I looked at buying 200 coins ( NZ$1000 worth ) when it was $3.. I couldn't find solid info on how or where to buy Bitcoin & after about a hour I gave up.

If you got it for free you would have to dismantle it, get rid of all the...

The metal that I make the most $$ out of, uses the least space, takes the least time & brings in the most money.
Is Copper.
It was 2/3rds of my yearly $$, & 1/2 the total volume & I didn't get...
I read last week something about China changing import grades of Copper & trying to move away from 'waste' & to prefer Ingots instead.
This could have been a reason for the shift in how the metal...
It might be another name for "Domestic" & my scrap buyer changed Microwave transformer coils to 'Domestic Copper' a few years ago.
I wasn't happy about it & he said that "It's because of the extra...
Thats something I learn about the length of the cord on a 9 inch grinder.
You want it so that when you use it, the plug & socket of the extension cord is bouncing on the ground.
If something...
Nice !
I dropped a metal ruler across the bottom 1/2 of a mold once by accident & was quite amused later on to find the indentations of the measurements were very vivid even with it being a average...

Dodge & Plymouth's are a thing of beauty.
I found some nice day slot Silver contacts on old clothes driers start up switches on the motor.
Once the motors got the drum rolling, a switch operates to turn the heating elements on, it's those...
If they are really big, like 6 X 10 or bigger, I would try & sell them as Heatsinks, on eBay or such, for BTSV.
Large heatsinks are ridiculously expensive compared to their scrap value & somebody...
That 4 1/2 inch grinder above. Price a 5 inch grinder & discs.
For the difference in diameter of the discs ( I'm not going to work this out )
Ok, I did.....
5 inch dia =. ...
I found that Heat pump compressors often have Aluminium windings in them, even if they are Copper, they are a pain to get into & don't return much more Copper than a fridge compressor.
Most fridge...
WoW ! That's impressive !
I'd love to see a Bronze spike, or Brass. That 'Old world' effect that the Copper spike's got is great.
I notice ( I have to, I've done some casting metal too..) The...
I first thought that escrap went to refiners who seperate every sort of escrap.
And then clean the ferrous off it & then it would go up big vats of acid in Titanium mesh baskets to removed the...
