Hi, it sounds the same as your cable, amoured cable is copper wire covered in steel sheth, the steel is then covered in PVC outer.. Thanks for the replies.

I roughly worked this out today

100 metres of 3 core unwrapped weighs 7.6kg.

A metre weighs 0.07.6kg

1000 grams in a kg

A metre weighs 76grams

Put power adapters and fat plugs in the freezer. This makes the plastic brittle and easier to smash the items open. Thanks for reading.
