If I ever get back across to AZ, we will have to hook up. When I left Mesa, all boards went for 3-5 cents a pound. Needless to say I stopped picking them up.

Hello from Baton Rouge
My full time income is from scrapping, but I'm a bit lazy and only part time it. I don't need much to survive.
Like said above, if its electronic, it has copper in it. Dumpsters are my biggest source. I have been known to sscrounge construction sites for end cuts. Every little bit adds up
It's really something to see people with showers choosing to stink(please don't invite me to dinner). I can go about 3 days till I can smell myself. Don't care how cold the water is coming out of the...
Hi from Baton Rouge. I hope you open a plastics and glass recycling center. Just not enough of them in the US. Good luck in your endeavors

Second try,
If you see this beast on the road, you will see myself (this...
Take the motors off, attach them to your bike and make yourself a motorized bicycle. sell that for more than the scooter.
Motorized bicycles, bicycle engines, bike motors, Schwinn bikes
I've been going to Southern scrap and extrusion goes @ .50. Cans @ .58. If you're getting higher, please share the yard.
On average I get .18- .22 lbs for Batteries. Still a shame the U.S. in general don't scrap household batteries like Sweden does.
Scrapping keeps me traveling America. Every new town is a challenge and there is usually something to see there. (Except Bogalusa, if you dom't need to be there, don't be there)
Wow that was pretty awesome. Thanks for posting these pics. I've always wanted to look inside the unit.
I prefer to scrap everything, but space is a definite disadvantage. My 1 ton van also houses, well, my house. I hide my tin very well then take it in when I have a good load. With AL prices so low...
I just looked on ebay and there was quite a few pages of people selling tv boards. I couldnt say if they are selling or not.
As for scrapping, there are a few post about tv boards
1973 Dodge tradesman 300 1 ton Van. paid $700 for it 6yrs ago. It's a work, recreation and home vehicle. Saves me a min of $700 rent a month since i park anywhere when Im tired.
I know times are tough, but not tough enough to do jail time for. They should have gone for that 12 strand of 12 gauge ground wire buried no more than 8 inches down 1 ft from the ties. Pretty stuff...
Looks like 1 mean fire. If the gas tank and back fender survived, the frame might have also. Even though its a sporty, its still a harley frame and could be worth anywhere from a few hundred to maybe...
I cant help the ads from being there, they go with the image host.
i scan with avg daily and its clean. ill scan again. I dont knnow what bug you referring to. My laptop runs just fine
I used to think that also. Was educated and bummed for awhile afterwards. Lost a lot of money over the years. Now just from scratching it up and holding into the light, it gives off a reddish hue.
Little something I like to make from Dumpster finds.
Everything is found. Ribbon, beads, hoop bracelets, cording. I sell them for $3 a piece when I'm in a dry spell and need gas for the van. So if...
Hello from all over Baton Rouge... for the time being anyways
[Everytime I see this reply I get homesick. Grew up in Denver in what used to be called the "yellows" on Colfax and Mariposa. Ill be back one day, just no day too soon]
Hello Ando From Eastern...
