Take the gravy work, and leave the other work for someone else. This guy is a landlord, hes looking for someone hungry to do it for nothing.
glad to hear the fuel was a pay off to all that.
the news is over dramatic. Yes it does happen, but it's the same in every city.
Next time don't even mention it.
What are the self pull junkyards paying per vehicle otd at auctions, I'm guessing $200-325 per vehicle? High end being trucks and suv. Any word on what someone has seen personally?
5.0 explorers are becoming a popular swap into older trucks. engine, wiring harness, ecu and trans. 8.8 axle too. I see lots of posting on classicbronco about them. Why? explorer was last to use the...
Surprised to hear a fullsize truck, didn't think anyone sold them cheap enough to make it worth your time. Usually see fullsize trucks at $750+.
Going to go out on a limb and say Malibu for these past couple years, yes? or any similar GM 3.1/3.4 car.
Just wondering, I don't scrap but browse CL often and see them at $200 all the time.
probably needs alignment. It will never sell unless the fender is replaced (junkyard fender) and the door and cab corner fixed. title transfer and registering it probably ate up a good bit of money...

Buy it the same way you buy every other car. The junkyards still have them, and the parts aren't selling quick at all.
ford 80-86 beds/ fenders/ bumpers/tailgate sell well if they are rust free and straight. 8.8 or 9" rear is worth $150. When selling parts put bronco in the title, that's where the most of your buyers...
nice. save the good parts my friend.
Ive always worked in automotive so I never had these problems. Construction on the other hand, I'm a total noob. Slowly learning more by donating time/labor to people doing work on their own home.
cory you need to snack on boiled peanuts. True southeast snack. Boiled peanuts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
good deal, in the dallas market here, the buyer would only break even on the truck paying $2500 for it, and putting in $2500 worth of work. Only worth flipping if you're the one putting in the labor.
good job on the parts trucks. Having not to pay retail for parts is a big savings.
solid front axle?
Thats great man. Keep saving them as you get them and you'll have a nice set of parts trucks.
heh I wouldn't use my own vehicle.
also on the old fords like that all you have to do is jump the eec relay, maybe the fuel relay too with a wire. Turn on the fuel pump.
Ah man, that last one you got was a nice truck.
