That's a good deal then. Probably a easy fix.
Like I said, a lot of techs just chuck them aside assuming that the chip is the problem.
We don't do that. We bench test everything that comes to...
The good old HP DV series. We get a lot of these in here for the exact reason you are getting them.
Actually we have one hanging in our front window as a display.
As was already mentioned the...
Welcome From Waterloo, IA USA
My initial bid was through GovDeals. I was later contacted by the seller when the Kardex did not sell because I was lower than the "reserve" even though I was the highest bidder. Then the school...
It wasn't GSA that contacted me. It was the seller. I just got back from their office.
They were just fed up with dealing with GSA. I guess they are having issues with GSA.
It is looking like I...
This was sort of a weird deal.
A while back I bid on a item in Govdeals. I was the high bidder, but was under their reserve price.
They called me Monday and asked me if I was still interested...

He got lucky and found the right folks at exactly the right time.

I had a great load last week. I just now have time to share this with my scrapping family.
We have a regular customer that we do recycling for here in town.
Last month one of the IT Managers asked...
NICE!
I guess it is better than having 4 drawers of bread twist ties...LOL
Those are high grade telecom boards. You hit the jackpot there. I had a bunch of that stuff last year. Pays better than mother boards.
Our local yard does not list their prices. I asked about this and they told me it was because customers would look at the price list and come up with all kinds of crazy things about what this and...
eBay seems to be working for us. We had $800.00+ in sales our first month. They do have some silly listing rules on computers until you have been with them for more than 90 days.
At his .10 per pound price for computers boards I can't see how you could go wrong in making an offer to buy from him.
I certainly would!
He could make 5X his money and we could be...
I seen in another post a guy said he was paying for flat screen monitors.
I guess I am missing something.
Outside of fixing caps and such, what is of value in a monitor?
I know about the...
I got 185 a ton this week with their dumpster and them picking it up.
It would pay me more to take it in myself, but I don't know how much more.
This way, when they pick up my dumpster, they bring...
Welcome from Iowa
No part of that sounds like a bad deal. I don't know what kind of machines they were, but my experience with online auctions tells me that is a good deal all day.
I know for myself, I don't take the processors off of the boards that are soldered on.
I just don't like to take the boards to my buyers all butchered up.
Like Bear said, I have recently started...
