If they will silent it will be best choice for my business because I am looking for the Best quiet air compressor. I need one big and one small air compressor but they both must be best portable.

    Hey, Chamca!!!!!!!
Congratulations to start your business. Are you looking for silent air compressor?? I search for it and get some quiet air compressors on. See the list of silent air compressor:

    1. California Air Tools CAT-1P1060S
    2. California Air Tools 8010 Ultra Quiet
    3. California Air Tools 10020C
    4. California Air Tools 5510SE
    5. Briggs & Stratton Quiet Power
    6. California Air Tools CAT-1P1060S

All the above air compressors are the best silent such as the California Air Tools 5510SE is an ultra quiet air compressor. This machine produces only 60 dB of sound. It is best portable to any place as you want. This compressor is able to produce 120 psi maximum pressure and 3.10 CFM at 40 psi & 2.20 CFM at 90 psi compressed air.

    The
Briggs & Stratton Quiet Power air compressor is a super quiet machine with advanced technology. The motor produces only 40 dB of sound which is extremely low. For more info, you can visit https://bestaircompressorstore.com/b...ews-2017-2018/

[All of the above air compressors are silent and best portable]

As a small air compressor, you can you the Dewalt 6 gallon air compressor. If it is small but you must know that it is very powerful and fight for work. I see a lot of customers refer to use this 6-gallon model. Its powerful motor produces 165 psi max of pressure and delivers 2.6 CFM at 90 psi of compressed air. It is also highly portable model for you. To see more about this model you can visit https://bestaircompressorstore.com/d...ressor-review/

    Enjoy you Business, Thank you

Just a couple of suggestions. Quiet isn't the big concern. Functionality & durability for a mechanic would be the things to focus on.

For off site jobs: A truck / heavy equipment mechanic would need a gasoline powered compressor that installs in a van or covered truck.

For work in the shop: A pro needs a big machine. It would be twin cylinder with a storage tank about six feet long by two feet in diameter. Best to install it in it's own soundproof room and pipe it out to a number of locations around the shop.

I have yet to use an oil-less compressor that was quiet.
