Hi Johnathan98. There are lots and lots of options. I very strongly suggest reading the old threads on here starting with the pinned threads in the electronics and computer recycling section. Every answer you want is probably in those already. Good luck and happy reading.

Hey Jonathan I agree with JJinLV this forum has lots of good information. You just have to become familiar with it. Being said that, this section is for videos only. I know that you new but there are other sections where you can post your questions.

    Lightbulb

Before you offer "free pick up" to everyone, make sure you know how much it costs per mile / kilometer to make the pick up AND how much the item(s) potentially will sell for.
There are plenty of members on this forum that can tell you times they lost money !
In my county, folks live too far apart to make pick up a good way to get stuff ( most of the time ). I have drop off locations.

Ways to advertise your service: FaceBook groups, Creg's List, word-of mouth ( church, community events, e.t.c. ) .

in addition to the advice of others:
theres NO fixed way to know/tell where u will end up getting more ewaste.

sometimes u might get lucky in a business park, sometimes in a residential area
theres been members who were given a whole garage full of ewaste in residential areas.

so u just gotta keep trying- try to avoid paying & dont mention gold or precious metal recovery
you dont want ppl to get the impression u are getting rich off this- then they will expect to get paid

if u have to pay- ask here first to avoid overpaying.
its nice to also show us pics- so we know what you have & can advise accordingly

when dealing with ppl, be decent & polite but to the point
dont kiss ass & make yourself look desperate bcos then ppl will lose respect for you.

we are providing a service & earning some money off it- thats all there is to it.
you dont have to feel inferior to others- just bcos you dont sit in an air conditioned office all day.

I agree with msmoorad. I say you are selling a service and target businesses will get you volume and the material you are interested in.

Keep reading the old threads, what is the best answer for me will not necessarily be best for you. I am certain someone has described many that will help you if you read the old threads. 73, Mike

Hey there! Ask at the scrap yard for permission to look around. Also if the are selling. If you can find e waste that is worth buying! Check my video on how I am doing this, and what to look for:
