Really? You gonna scrap that truck? Looks like she's worth saving. Appears to be way more money in than scrapping it out. Have you thought about parting it first?

I don't think he means that he's scrapping the truck, but rather not doing anymore scrapping until the truck is back running, again.

    Good luck with the Ranger...

if something went wrong with the coil pack wiring you may want to look at replacing the coil packs, i have seen a few coil packs short out inside and instead of sending the thousands of volts to the spark plug it is sent back on the control wire into the computer, it is more common on ford coil-on-plug ignitions but it can happen on coil packs

yep very familiar with that system if you are gonn a have it down you may be ahead to change all 8 plugs, you dont want a bad pkug shortening the life of new coils. the ones on the left side are a PITA but if you have a spark plug socket with the rubber to hold them in and a good u joint and extension they arnt to bad.

Oh, I see now. Had to go back and re watch the video. Sorry about that. Tell ya one thing. You can't go wrong with the 302! Minus the MPG of course. It'll be fun getting it in there, but I have seen it done. Good luck.

A friend of mine put a direct injection Perkins diesel in his Ranger and he loves it. It seems to be serving him well. He is a major motor head though.
There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!
