If you put tv in the search engine it will not find anything. Appreatently we have an odity in the search feature if you put in 3 letters or less it can't find anything. I wish we could do better. Its been recommended that you do a google search for tv and include scrapmetalforuum.com with it. Best of luck, Mike.

You recycle the rest, thru Goodwill, Best Buy, and find a company that will accept your leftover plastic. I pull the wiring, and circuit boards and put the case back together and then recycle it properly.

No offense to "njscraper5150" but, there should be a kiddie pool for those new to the business and the site.

    And spelling/grammar.

Seriously though, I love the content of the site.

I primarily came here to find new markets and get some leads.

It seems as though this site is part buyer/seller and how-to forum

Maybe there should be a forum for each.

Sorry if I've spoken too boldly, being a new guy to the forum and all.

Thats what makes this site so good. The mix of it has something for everyone. And you can start small and grow into a buyer yourself. Least thats my plan for the future.

Miked , thanks for the info on the 2 letter search failure. It's explains why I could not find IC's.

It's not so much a failure - it's something a lot of forum software has in common. vbulletin and phpbb are the same. It's to stop the server working like crazy finding lots and lots of hits and to stop lots of returns for items like lick.

I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""
