    Stripping coaxial cable wires

I lost my markets for insulated coaxial cable wire and I don't want to dump it on the shred heap. Is there an easy way to recover the metal with/without a powered stripper? Also, some of the wires have a copper mesh shield and it would be nice if I can recover it as well. Any idea?

I take it this is not copper-clad coax? If it is copper-clad only it belongs with the shred as it is basically insulated steel. If it is copper coax with copper shield you should be able to sell it with your cat-5 or harness wire as it recovers approximately 50% on average. There are higher grade coax wires too that recover better than 50% but you shouldn't have any problem selling those at any yard. Also some places call CATV wire coax. If it's that, a shame to sell it as aluminum breakage but better than shred I guess.
