Dunno if it is good or not but the mechanics of it look good. There are similar machines on ebay for over $100 less. You get MCM by buying it from electricians or demolition companies or by being an electrician or by luck.

You should estimate an average of 90% recovery from MCM and set your price accordingly based upon the profit margins you want to make.

At 2.75, I should move to Rochester and open a scrap yard

Haha. Whats your price bet its higher i bet 3.50 a lb. Ours was 3$ but in just 7 days after i took in my last load to make room for ec wire it went down to 2.75 for num 1. Guys at work took in 91lbs of tubes and split it lol. I did get all the insulation off the ac tubes. Still got 7 a frames and 7 central ac rads 2 of em are aluminum should i leave em whole or lope off the aluminum ends? Oh and 10 compressors from central acs. Plus more ec wire i can strip ec is going for .60 a lb here. Every 100lbs is 60$. Not as good as copper but its free so ill strip it to make more. Whole box full of aluminum wire mostly 4/0. Havent come across much acsr just once lucky easy to unwind steel rod. I got 15lbs ec so far 85lbs till i get 100.
