    Monitors - Broke/Not working

Any value to be had ? I’ve got about 50 monitors & stands from a storage unit I picked up , not accepted at the scrap yard. Is it best to just find a free place that will accept these and move on ?

You can easily sell any 17" or larger LCD monitor to buyers who source them for remanufacture if the screens are good (not to say functional, but without bleeding - use a flashlight to check - or major scratching). Your returns will vary by buyer but you can check the buyers here on the forum for several options. 50 monitors on a pallet in a gaylord or boxes is already at least 300lbs so you can look at freight shipping for that, the AC adapters you posted about and other electronic waste. Depending on total weight and how far you're shipping you might be at $.10-15/lb or even less at freight costs. Check the buyers section for freight shipping too

I sold some to somebody to use in their security system.
I pointed out that using the big flatscreen would 'burn' the image into their screen & ruin it for normal use.
They can keep one screen on all of the time rather than turning the big screen on if theres a noise at night, less obtrusive.
Some older security system cannot run hard drives over 80 gigs too. So thats a user of 80 gig HDD.

Somebody else i know wants some as a side screen for their entertainment system, so they can see whats on a different tv channel without changing the big flatscreen.
And for playing music & something about not liking using a tablet or small screen laptop " Because my eyes focus too short while using them & when i stop using it, everythings blurry for a while".

This is something quite a few people i know are noticing now. Blurry vision because of using tablets & smartphones.

You are going to want to store those screen to screen, stacked on their edges like LP's. The way they are shown in the photo is pretty much guaranteed to ruin them.
