    what I learned thos week

I am an SIS scrapper (siplemental/sirvival)

Opened an AC compressor with an A in the searial # ran the frinder across the crown (windings) they came out copper so proceded tirned out the outside set of windings were copper, the inside set were alu. had to resort a whole bucked to copper windings.

the heavy wore arround a crt or tv tube is hard to strip with a knofe because of all the tape winding, I hit it with my grinder aoo the way arround one side till I see copper, takes less then a minite or two and the tape comes off all in ome piece like normal wire insulation.

The little thingie in the mocrowave with the Beraliam in it, however even as an STS Im not sure it is worth the effort, the copper is a nice chink but is incased if SS that is very time consumong to remove, the only way I could was to grind it away.

auto A/C compressors, very difficult with out the proper equipment. the pully has to come off and it is a bear. any one have a solution ?

where does light Iron end and tin begin or are they 2 different mettals ? i.e. apploanc/auto skin vs tin cans industrial light fistures etc.

tis the seasion of little flying things when working in the woods or old scrap piles be ware of yellow jackets they love old appliences, cars and old tires, and they are quick, and will light you up in secounds, and ya cant out run em.
