Best way to strip this cable?

For starters, I'm a hobbyist and do not have room nor a budget for industrial sized machinery. But I am looking for a tool or machine which will aid me in removing the outer jacket to obtain the copper wiring stranded throughout this cable, and also the inner insulation as well. If it is too difficult to get to the aluminum and not worth my time or money, I am content with getting the copper wiring off and then selling the remainder as is.

Yeah I’m aware what I’m in for, Ive stripped a moderate amount by hand by ripping a single strand of copper out, which allows me to remove the outer jacket and then easily remove the remaining copper wires. I haven’t bothered with the aluminum center as I don’t have a way to do it that’s worth my time.

I guess I need to know if there’s a way to easily create a cut the length of my cable so I can get to the copper wiring under the jacket.

I would use the charts on this page to determine the value stripped and then determine if it is worth it

Thanks for that chart. It’s allowed me to figure out that there is 124 lbs of copper per 1,000 feet, and I’ve also been able to figure that if I could remove 60 feet of jacketing an hour it’d be worth my time if done by hand. Still looking for a tool under $500 that will make my life much easier though.
