Hey trying to post e-scrap ad on craigslist...

Yall I don't ever really have trouble with my ads anymore, but I just tried to post an e-scrap ad in wanted/owner and on my old account, (which is where I have other scrap ads), and it gets deleted immediately. Maybe there's just some rule i'm violating or they think I should pay for a business ad, but I was just wondering if yall had any info/advice about this. Maybe I just went over my limit for the day...

I could probably just check google/youtube myself, thought maybe this is a particular problem wth e-scrap ads? Cause all my other stuff doesn't get touched.

This is kinda embarrassing considering my post in the scrap room, heh heh.

You really shouldn't have any problems posting wanted adds in the wanted section. But i know my adds for "Free Appliance and Electronics Pickup" that i post in the free section get removed usually within an hour. I keep posting in that section though because that is where i get the best response.

just check out other ads in that section- maybe u are using some words that the system picks up & causes it to reject your ad- just saying.

The topic has come up in the past. You would have to dig through the weeds but the thread is probably still there somewhere.

Memory is vague, but i think it came down to a competitor on CL that kept flagging the posts ?

Yes, normally your ad will stick until it gets flagged either by an offended reader or a competitor who wants to kick you off there.

Yeah i've had regular scrap ads on for a long time, and all of a sudden they will start getting deleted, over and over, but if you keep trying it will stop eventually. Then one day it will happen again, after a little they'll stop, just gotta keep reposting.
