    stripping wires help

i was thinking of stripping some cat3 for the copper price instead of getting #3 insulated price what is it at now? has anyone ever dtripped cat 3 or ethernet cords? do you gain on the cat 3 or lose if you stripped it for bare copper? is there a easy way to stripp cat 3? my stripper only goes to 20-22 and cat 3 goes through the hole do i need a stripper that does 24awg any good cheap ones? i am currently using a exacto knife it takes a while to do. my yard does not take the ends from the ethernet cables do some yards take the ends? if i find a yard that takes tv boards will they also take the gold plated plug ends?

If your getting #3 insulated prices, it's time to find a yard that has a Telco catagory and pays appropriately.

Ether net cable ends, save them up and send to a buyer on here. Or even send the whole cable.

Mike, why don't you go to your local scrap yard and ask them about pricing?

Go to rockaway recycling's website or cablemanagementusa.com to get a better idea.
