wires

what is classified as ec wire? i know its ali but if i have wire thats from apliances that i stripped and they were ali wire does that count as ec wire? i was also wandering if any of you strip the tin coated copper ir just leave it insulated? the yard says i would get .50 lbs for tin copper and the other yard always gave me #2 for it.

Don't know about EC or wire nuts. With tinned copper wire, I have gotten #2 if it is stripped and 40% insulated (currently fifty cents) for it as is. Don't sell it stripped for 50 cents. Take it to that other yard if you have to.

hm yeah i wish i could that yard got shutdown for having military equipment on the property=( the yard i go to now is the closest and i dont have to fingerprint or fill out a bunch of paper stuff. i like it cause its small and simple and sometimes fast depending on who i get lol.
