    Oldie but a goodie

    This is a link to a thread I enjoyed at the time and believe it has things to teach others today. I tend to beat the dead horse of: read read read the old threads and this is one of those threads you may have missed.

    http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/day-l...long-time.html

    Another thread I wish I could locate is of a member who started scraping because he found himself out of work and a family to provide for. This has been a common thread with many of our members but this one was different. This guy had joined the forum shortly after or before losing his regular job. He authored the tread I am thinking of after about year of being a member. The thrust of this thread was he had gone from being broke and in debt to doing well enough to provide for his family, get out of debt and take his family on a vacation. He attributed his success to his willingness to work hard, the support of his wife and all he had learned from the generous members who share their experiences.

    I hope you will continue reading the old threads, there is much to learn from them and of course keep reading the current ones as well. Hope you have happy and relaxing holiday season. This included Christmas, Hanukkah (Chanukah), New Years and anything else you may celebrate, and 73 to all, Mike

    "Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}

    Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
