    Tis the season...

How I love this time of the year, a load of fake Christmas Trees always makes the shred pile look more festive! Be on the lookout for those pesky metal reindeers and a snowman or two. A few miles of holiday lights as well. And then the best days come after the holiday, lots of electronics were replaced and the old stuff will find the way to the curb.

I told the kids that the other kids were wrong, Christmas was January 25 and spent the month curbco shopping. The kids seldom got the newest games and items, but they got a lot of them.

Just kidding, I always love the trash after Christmas and I particularly love garage sales after c-mas.

I hate those **** reindeer, they tangle almost as badly as loose fence. I have probably scrapped about a ton of them though.
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

Nothing says Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays like a giant Yule Goat...an yes, it's a real thing.

The city I live close to has places where you can take your Christmas tree and drop it off after you take it down. The city has a chipper truck that goes around and collects the trees. I was surprised at how many trees still had lights on them. If your city does this it might be a good place to pick up some lights. Probably need to check with the authorities first.

2 small fake trees and several strands of lights so far but its just beginning decorating time but you would not know it by the weather 92 yesterday (way too hot for this time of the year)!
