I had one that ran off a 1/2" drill bolted down to a small table. It worked well for me but I did not have enough wire to justify keeping it. I also found that chasing wire was a waste of my time which was better used in other ways.

I got the wire stripper on ebay and the 1/2" drill from harbor freight. Harbor freight also sells a foot switch which could be added to the drill for easy control.

One bit of advise is on some wire its easier to run it through a second time cutting it in a different place. This second cut is useful on a few types of plastic insulation. Once you do it a while you will understand what I am talking about. 73, Mike
