    Price charged to recover freon.

    Ok so what are you guys paying to have refridgerators and ac's
    drained of thier coolant ? I recently called a local guy about doing a fridge and he quoted me $35.00
    to remove the coolant.

    If the service call is inclusive that quote is very reasonable.

    If you are really interested in this subject read more of the recover of Freon. We have a couple of members who make money selling the refrigerant for reuse. Also there is a licensing study guide available on the forum. This guide also discusses equipment. 73, Mike

    Some yards will buy them still charged and recover the refigerant themselfs. Dont know of your location in Indiana, but metro recycling does this. They have 3 yards in Indiana. Valpo, Griffith and Lowell
