Is it worth shipping low grade ewaste boards?

I have been wondering if shipping low grade boards would be feasible. Locally I'm getting $.03 lbs. Does anybody know the average price per pound for low grade boards elsewhere? Like e-waste specific recyclers? I am thinking of shipping gaylord boxes of low grade. Like 1000 lbs minimum. I'm in Southern Maine so across the country probably would not work. But to the midwest, maybe. Does CFCS have minimums for low grade?

I guess all I really need is a price per pound for low grade boards? I can figure out what the shipping price per pound needs to be from my end to be able to turn a profit.

how about you contact them with pics and questions and they even have freight shipping as well they are more than happy to help you see if its worth while. low grade is a general title for a lot of boards, most brown boards are low grade for example but some are worth a good deal same with green boards some can be 50cents a pound for low grade which is easily worth shipping but others may be 20-25cents and some are not worth more than tin

^^ All good ideas. I don't have a stockpile yet so no pictures. I go through a fair amount of brown tv boards.

If you are working on pallet loads separate ( obviously) and send them in with other high grade stuff on the same pallet or multiple pallets to save more on the shipping. I am in CT and if I send in 600 or 700 lbs of mixed sometimes the lower grade stuff
covers the shipping and then the rest is G_R_A_V_Y. But I agree with Travistemple202020 in that pictures and communication with your buyer will help you decide whats best for you.

I agree with the above. Contact your buyer, make sure it's cool, and then combine those low grades with whatever else you ship out to sell. You can also use other means then Postal for moving a lot of weight. We all know we have our resident Transportation Genie, who I'm sure would be glad to quote you a price.

I'd ship via truck to save on fees, an combine what I'm shipping if low grade is in there.

I don't think I'd send just low grade unless said buyer was paying really good pricing on them.

    As always..YMMV.

The main purpose I would ship low grade board would be as filler for a pallet quantity. High grade E-waste has slowed down much at the moment.
