    Junking a 2001 Nissan Sentra

    Greetings everyone,

I've got a 2001 Nissan Sentra I need to get rid of. I was going to junk it, but I have not dealt with Junking a car before.
Does anyone know what is best to do in this situation? Calling a junkyard? or a Scrap Metal Company ?
I'm assuming the car is only worth a couple hundred bucks in Scrap.
I had thought about selling it with the blown motor on Craig's List for like 400 Bucks.

    Regards,

scrap is down right now, I would try selling it on cl first, 400 aint bad for a car with blown engine, if there are any pick and pull yards in the area an engine can be bought for around 200. If the rest of the car isn't trashed it would be a good deal for someone.

Or you can part it out (on craigslist), then sell what is left to a scrap yard.

I think the only thing that I would keep to part out is the Radiator, because it is near new and easy to just pull.
Or the tires and rims, but it has been sitting for like 2.5 years so I think the tires might be out of round.

Check ebay to see if any of the parts have sold. Lights, interior parts sell well from some vehicles. Mike
