I use Klein wire cutters or dikes. They are high leverage. There are different styles. It maybe hokum but some of the techs at our shop say the model sold at home depot is inferior to that sold by Johnstone supply (10-15$ more) but I haven't noticed a difference. J can only say that when I started with nothing but hand-me-down downs I had a pair of cutters that we cheap and just trash. Then I sprang for some Klein dikes. There is a world of difference and I think mine cost upwards of $30. Most of the small hand plier tools and screw drivers are klein. There are ups and downs.
