Keeping Screws off the work bench and floor

This isn't much of a tip I guess, but I started using a cardboard lid on top of my workbench to process some smaller E-waste items. I used the lid off of the box, which reams of paper, come in. Seems to allow mother board, CD/DVD drives, routers, etc. To fit nicely. Then I can just remove screws and such and let them fall. When finished all processing I can just dump the lid. I got so tired of coming into the house with small screws stuck in the bottom of my boots. Actually the truth is the wife was tired of catching them in her sweeper, LOL. Also help solve the problem I seem to have of miss placing my tools; I just keep them inside the lid, until I’m done
