Creative use of wasted space - an unused bathtub

Wanted to share this with you guys as I know we can all use more space to store stuff. Just bear with me for a little back story of how I came up with the idea.

I currently live in a 2 bed 2 bath condo. Which makes scrapping a little tricky. My work space is mostly limited to the back of my truck. My bed is never empty. Lol. Luckily my parents let me keep some stuff at their house behind the shed for a while as long as I keep it neat. And the wife didn't have any problem with me bringing (clean) stuff into the condo to work on because we had a second bedroom (read, walk in closet lol) which was also a place to keep my tools and whatever else we needed to store out of the way. However, I had to spend the last few months converting the walk in closet to a nursery. On 10/8 we had our first child, a beautiful, healthy baby girl. I love her to death, but there went the last bit of space in the house I can call mine. Lol. Now, we've used the front bathroom more as a utility room since we've lived here as we have 2 cats and use it as a place for the litter boxes. Everybody uses the back bathroom including guests, so aside from holding the cat boxes, the rest of the bathroom was just useless space. That is, until now.

This was built for under 50 dollars and worked out perfectly using 2 sheets of 4x8 particle board with minimal cutting and only wasting a few small pieces in cutoffs. Gives me plenty of space to store my tools, a little bit of stuff waiting to be broken down, and room to spare for whatever else may need tucking away. And the 2 best parts are the curtain can be pulled shut and you'd never know it was full of stored stuff. And for anyone who wants to copy this, even if you're renting, there's no screws into the walls. It just sits on the tub. So it would be easy to tear it out when you move out so your landlord stays happy.

    Hope you guys enjoy.

This is a great use of space.
Put some antifreeze (the bio kind) in the drain cause with no use the trap water will evaporate in 6 or so months you will be asking where that smell is coming from.
I'm going to recycle the world.

Mike1286 - I think you did a very good job, especially if it was not being used. Your paying for that sq, footage, you might as well use it for a storage/staging area for your scrap work.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

You should put a door to the tub so you can use that space for storage too.
