    After thoughts

Yesterday I was called out of the blue buy a school principal I haven't worked in 2 years or so.

Several years back, when I first started in this business, one of the first things I did was work the county and city school systems. I visited each one explained our service and how we could help them. I made sure I left an impression and a card. I did follow up with each one for at least a year. This was a time when Gold was headed for the moon and competition was every where.

I apparently left a lasting impression I bought 800 + desk tops sans monitors and I'm not sure how many lap tops from a school system contact I made way back when.

    Make sure they remember you.

.. we both know the only retirement Ill ever see is when they find me slumped over a pile of servers.

Some times I get to feeling sorry for my self, when the pain and weather get to me and things are slow, I think of retireing, but my guess is it ain't gonna happen.

Yesterday was one of those days where every thing fell in my lap, The unexpend shipment of recovered parts from a client, then an old contact drops what may be arround 1000 dells in my lap, Who could think of retirement on a day like that. Thx for the thought. Mike.
