Did I Just Find My First Gold Chip?

I broke down a Samsung Projection Tv yesterday, and here's what I found:

    (Front)

    (Back)

Is this the legendary "dlp gold chip" tv?
If so, what do I do next??

Not clear, but, the really good ones are marked 386/486, or Pentium pro. tho the other gold caps and double gold caps are premium also. Don't get caught up in gold fever, (IT IS REAL),l chips and pins no longer have the value or mistique they once had.

    ^^^ X2.

I just pulled a Cyrix M2 66 mhz. It weighs about 1/10th of a pound which is heavy for a processor.

It's a nice find, but if a buyer were paying 35.00$ / lb it would be worth 3.50 $

Picked up a Pentium ceramic the other day that weighs 4/100 ths of a pound. At 32.00$/lb it's worth about 1.28 $

    It's not like .... OMG I STRUCK GOLD !

I googled it of course shop jimmy came up with it first place. Actually a good idea they must recycle all the media type ewaste and realize we all getting shafted on this stuff selling as scrap.

WHat I wonder is do they actually pull it all and catalog and stock or just have a warehouse of lcd and tvs waiting for a customer order then pull the part.

Money is in this you guys. I cant see this chip having much gold in it. Well recoverable gold. Since al/cu frames and no more bond wires wheres the beef!

    Aaron.
