Keeping up with your small copper peaces

We all love that bare bright copper it's so pretty and gives us all a thrill when we see it shinning but what does everyone do with the Little Balls or twisted peaces? If your like me and just starting out with only a utility knife as your friend it can be a tuff road. What I do for now is cut mine down into 12” long peaces and strip each that way making little screw looking things by twisting them but because they are small I didn't know what to do with them or the tiny thread like peaces that fall off that I gather in a white bowl and twist into a little wad. For my large peaces that I twist I keep those in Coffee can's. But for the other's I have found if u use over the counter pill bottles and empty perscription bottles Labels taken off and just sit full ones on a shelf untl u are ready to dump it all together to haul off makes a dandy way.

This little dandy beats hand stripping wire 10 fold. A lot less work if you can strip the whole wire instead of cutting it up.

I sweep up the little pieces and toss it in the #2 bucket after a quick scan with a magnet...

I strip my wire when I'm watching tv. Cut into pieces as long as I feel like messing with at the moment. After its stripped I wrap it around my hand, toss into a 5 gallon bucket rinse and repeat:-).

THANK YOU this is easy enough to where I can make one and already have materials laying around down at momma's your a god send. I bought the most complicated wire stripper known to man it's worthless and paid 27.00 for it I was looking into another popular model designed like this one but if i've already got the FREE materials why bother paying when u can make it yourself. THANKS BUNCHES

This is the same thing that I do! People laugh at me and my 5 gallon bucket. Some ladies carry their knitting needles, I carry around buckets full of wire...ha ha ha
