Thumbs up Spring Cleanup - Vacuum Cleaners

This is the first spring cleanup i was able to attend in my vehicle! I saw people just cutting the cords off the vacuum cleaners and leaving the actual units behind. Thanks to my smarts, i know there is a copper motor inside every vacuum cleaner. I picked up about 15 vacuums (7 i can resell, so im scrapping 8). If your not doing well picking up large scrap on the curb side, look for some vacuum cleaners. The unwound copper adds up!

I never have a problem picking up vacuums, most other scrappers cut the cord and leave the rest which just baffles me because they leave the motor behind. Thats fine by me! I can either take the motor out and scrap some of the rest of the unit or scrap them whole if I feel like it. I usually scrap the carpet steamer cleaners whole, less plastic *I* have to get rid of and those are pretty heavy so I figure it evens out for me.
