What do you do with all of the white ends of computer wires? im talking about the ones like on the end of the wiring coming out of the power supply and the random smaller ones that are less than an inch long. i have heard from someone that you can sell them as dirty brass?

dirty brass, just throw them in a bucket, roughly .25-.30 lb

And the reason I cut them is I get better price for my wire clean. My story and I'm sticking to it.

since they quit buying burnt copper wire in my state the yards around me will let you leave anything on your wire..i leave basically anything that adds weight . if i pull a fuse box from a car and it has a lot of wire attached , those ferrite rings, small transformers, and anything else with in reason..the only thing i have been asked to remove is ac adapters ..we have 2 prices around here #1 coated and # 2 coated ....#1 is 1 dollar per pound and #2 is 50 cents per pound....ive never sold #1 coated before so they may be a bit stricter with it

SO you get dirty brass price just cutting off the end? I assume you are talking not even pulling the brass prongs out?

The OP was asking about the ends off the power supply wire that plugs into the m.b. and drives. Those lil pins are too small for me to mess with.
