    spring time

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

Get your walmart bags and dogs leashed, because spring is here and cans are ready to be picked up! I went on a walk today and filled up two walmart bags within 15 minutes of cans.... and only if wisconsin had a deposit for beer bottles... saw alot of those also!!

I started seeing the cans peak out of the snowbank earlier this week.....
Then we got 15 inches of snow in two days and more coming, maybe two more weeks until they peak back out.
    *Sigh*

Not just cans. Found a half shreded fifty foot extention cord in a snow pile from the snow plow and a sub pump also. Interesting

I forgot where I read it, but someone had the idea to look on the edges of parking lots where the snowbanks get plowed up on, since people drop jewelry and it then gets plowed to the edges. Still waiting for it to melt around here, almost there!!

    Absolutely!
We walk under the chairlifts at the ski mountain when the snow finally melts off. usually fill a five gallon bucket a day with watches wallets change phones all kinds of stuff that fall out of pockets. A connection is needed for this in my case, or you will be charged for trespassing.

Awesome! Wish I lived closer to some mountains haha I've found a few goodies under the grandstands at the local racetrack, nothing too crazy. Same with bleachers and what not

Im jealous you can pick up cans. I filled up a 25 gallon trash can with cans I picked up walking my dog. The yard wouldnt touch them because people have been caught steeling them from supermarket can return centers. Ill find someway to sell them.

I go for metal walks all the time - always come home with bags of stuff. I love finding wire along the roadsides and along pullouts. Also recently found a cut appliance cord. I had to wonder why about that one? If someone bothers to cut a cord, you'd think they'd want to keep it.
