Appliances with freon

So i have had a bunch of appliances dumped on me overtime, but they have freon. Im not licensed to evacuate them so i have put ads up on CL to try and find someone licensed to remove freon. $20 per unit doesnt seem worth it. So i put up an ad saying free appliances for person with hvac license who will remove freon in front of me so i can see it gets done properly. I got swarms of emails from men and women.
Wondering if i should just pick one and let them remove freon and keep scrap appliance, or is there a better way for my pocket. Seems like a waste to just give away since i had to haul some of them. The appliances are small window ac's , a small fridge, and small dehumidifiers.
Should i advertise free freon if removed and try and keep the appliances? Not sure if anyone would go for that.

I'd find out what the refrigerant is worth, and then save up enough appliances to make it worth someone coming to evacuate them for just the refrigerant. Maybe add a bit of cash if needed, and you can find someone that is willing to do this regularly.

Be sure and know all the laws in your state before you do. Here in Georgia, it is ok to turn in appliances such as dehumidifiers and window a/c units without requiring paperwork. I looked it up on the Secretary of State website just to make sure. However, there are yards out there that dont know the law and/or are too scared to take anything because they think they will get in trouble. I have offered to show them the specific law online or even print copies, but like most yards they cant be bothered and just muddle around with what they know instead of expanding their knowledge. If your state is the same, try and find a yard that takes the time to educate themselves and dont fear taking such items because they know they are covered. They may also have a good suggestion for you regarding the other items. Dont give away hard earned money without checking it out first. Good luck!

I know of yards that will take them, but i wouldnt turn them in whole. I would break them down for separating metals.
