Let me start off by apologizing if this is a stupid question.
I have been ripping apart a little hoard of AC compressors and fan motors I have accumulated over the last few months. I have quite a few that I have gotten the windings out of but they have a lot strings and glue like material on them. I hit them a few times to get the strings off but the copper still is in little bunches that are almost glued together. I'm assuming that once I take the string off and put them in a bucket this will be ok with the scrap yards.
Am I correct on this or do I need to get the glue off somehow?
I did a search on here as well as on google but couldn't find where this is discussed. Thanks for any help!
