Jghilino, where do you get 15.00 for 3oz of gold trimmings? Please not tell me e-bay, not my bag. I know I could cut the gold off and get 80.00lbs. Maybe I missed something but you said you cut the boards with scissors? My buyers wants all the green off. I was thinging about using a scroll saw but don't know if it is worth the investment. I still have 2-3lbs of those boards and more comming.

There is a buyer out there for everything and anything. I have a buyer that gives me $3-10 a piece for them, working or not, depending on age. That's a bit more than a penny, I'd say...

i wouldn't tell you to use scroll saw to cut 1 is dust which is harmful .i used to build circuit boards ,mostly honeywell, Lockheed, Lockheed and martin, any way the chemical process to put traces and pads on boards are etched with acid, also boards contain lead, copper ,fibers, trust me the chemicals are nasty nasty stuff ,some are radio active when they come out of the etching machine ..i got paid well but when the machine taking off the laminate usually at the end of the run there a little triangle sayn 2 on radioactive scale ...im not saying that computer boards are the same but im sure there made in similar way .you can do what you want but id rather cut with a paper cutter ...

Your post clearly shows you never took one apart. Just like an LCD TV there are several different boards. x, y, power, main, ect...

The lcd inverter boards are worth the most. I am still kicking myself for not getting in an a 50 pound lot that sold today for $9 pound, ive been paying $10 pound for them. There is also decent amounts of midgrade and lowgrade boards in them, the casing around the screen is usually aluminum or stainless.
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE
