Flat tire led to a score

Went to make a pickup at a construction site. Got what I was supposed to. And a FLAT TIRE!! I pulled over put the donut on. I had a new tire but needed it on the rim. Stopped at this tire place I've never used before. Was chatting with the tech who was mounting the tire. I looked on the floor and there was a small mountain on wheel weights. So I said " Hey. What y'all do with those shell weights?" He said "We reuse the ones with the metal clips but the stick ins we throw away. " I offers to pick them up and separate them if I can have the stick ons. I walked out with 173 lbs of lead wheel weights. And a new once a month pick up spot. Im going this morning to a few more and try and strike a deal.
