I just do this to support a crack habit, however, currently I'm not smoking so it's all profit. ::facepalm::

IS the money in this? Yes very much so but its all on how hard/long you want to work. This is not one of them jobs where you can sit on your butt all day in the office playing finger football! You have to get out there get what you need spend very long days an nights. Have days where nothing goes your way an even miss a few dinners. But if you think smart an work smart things can go alot easier that is the very reason why this forum was made. So people who do it all the time an those like you will learn from our pass mistakes.

There are two types of scrappers.

#1 Hard core scrapper = The ones who go out an hunt all day for the metal an network (they dont know what they will get that day)

#2 The reseller = The one who will go buy large amounts of metals from people take it apart an then sell it to the highest bidder.

welcome to the forum, Phil. The guys weren't too hard on you were they ? Really, I've been on here several months and I haven't asked a question yet....I just research until I find the answer...it's all here. I should say I don't REMEMBER asking a question !!! These guys are brilliant(mostly guys...ladies don't seem to stick around long !!??). Well, not all of them...watch out for Hoss and Mech688 !! Kidding, friends. Oh, and Old Dude and Mick, too. Seriously, if you just read what these gentlemen write you will be bringing in the bucks before you know it without going through all the hassle of "learning as you go" as most of us did. Best of luck to you, Phil.
