Managing a multiple crew construction site for scrapping.

I've transitioned from from road building to site work jobs. This entails demo, sitework, and underground. In this transition I've got into the scrapping behavior from the disgust of large volume of waste that could laden my wallet and not fill dumpsters. Whats a good tip for lessening the splits I've had to encounter since its "become" lucrative.

I am working a demo job right now. Scrap is clearly stated as the property of the company doing the job.

I would try and get it in righting from the owner/financer

I didnt have much time today so I just let the others get to it. I'm mostly a copper guy anyways and dont have the space for the iron. Its a great way to motivate a truck driver to bust out the chop saw and drag metal out of the hole .
