    The past 2 months I've been going to these thrift (2nd hand) stores. I like to look for brass. Older lamps are the best... I found a lot of heavy solid brass lamps weighing around 8 to 12 pounds each for 2.00- $4.00 a piece. I only buy them if they are cheap so you gotta watch they are sometimes sold for more then what you would make scrapping them. Also look for weights under them. some have heavy pieces of steel on the bottom.
