    Excellent source of scrap.

This is one of my methods which has paid off very well for little expense.

If you are in an area where there are car shows, be it street rods, antique car, even motorcycle shows- offer a small item to put in the goody bags that all show participants get. It could be notepads, those little screwdrivers, or in my case magnets.

I had some small business card sized magnets made up with my name and phone number etc. and donated them to the organizers of the shows. They get tossed in with the free Budweiser bottle opener and the notepads from the local lawyer, etc.

Speaking from experience, us old car guys produce ALOT of scrap. I've scored some great 'more than scrap value' wares this way from the street rodders.

Done right scrapping can pay numerous dividends.

Sounds like a great idea! I can make up some business cards myself, and being in New England, car shows are very common during spring and fall.

Outstanding idea! For the cost of little goodies like that, even a few phone calls could put you in the black...especially like you said with auto scrap. Nice!
