    X-ray gadgets dangerous?

Hi, is there any health to using X-ray based equipment for metal testing? There days there are lots of small devices that regular people use in scrap yard, outside the safety precautions of a lab. I know they all say that they are safe to use, but are there reliable studies of that, and more importantly, are there cases of people damaging their health by using such devices? I would appreciate credible info or reviews.

Can we pay you with counterfeit currency? Nah, forget it, it is simpler to buy a fake diploma instead.
NEW TO SCRAPPING? READ THIS: Build up your horde of magnetic and non-magnetic metals in two piles until you have a better understanding of the business. Magnetic material has low value and is mostly always steel / shred / short iron. Read old threads about non-magnetic metals and ewaste (and how to sort them), but don't forget that they generally have absolutely no tolerance for contamination (screw / iron / foreign material).
