    Scrapside It's easier then you think. Take an old three wire plug and any power cord (extension cord , ect) you likely have around and only connect the Center(green wire). Plug it into any grounded outlet and you will have a grounded lead to use. make it as long as you need. You still need to discharge capacitors by touching that lead to them. The power wont back feed through a devices power cord. If that were the case it would be vary bad to touch the input plug on any device. This danger in present in the charge circuit on poorly designed and some home made Electric vehicles over 48 volt.

    I second Mech an Hoss.

    Being as I mess with them all the time. I let them sit a min of 3 days most of the time, unless I know for a fact.

    I know nothing tho. I assure you.
