    I got 2 acetylene tanks at the flea market for $7

    Yea (2) 40 cu tanks with regulators and brazing a tip. Those tanks cost about 150.00 each at tractor supply co. I have been wanting to get an oxy-acetylene setup for a while so im off to a good start I still need an oxy tank (-$150) and a cutting torch (-$200). If nothing pops up on craigslist soon im going to end up buying them at tractor supply co.

    Check to see whether they're still in test. Tanks need to be re-certified every so many years. I had a big Oxygen tank that had expired, and to swap it at the gas supplier, I had to pay a $25 fee to have it re-tested. Still worth it of course...
