Best tool buy from a yard?

Found an old Leblond engine lathe at the yard a couple months back. It is a 5hp 13x 36 late 40's vintage and weighs a ton. It probably spent years on a battle ship during WWII . Anywho, It didn't have the compound cross slide. Got one off fleabay for cheap.

I used the harbor freight 7x lathe for years and wanted to compare ( 100lbs vs 2000lbs tool) Guess which one is better

I love old American steel tools and wish I could buy more of them.

    What's your best buy?

Last year found an 8 inch Wilton vice, an oldie but goodie. Had to grease it up and now opens smoother than my cheap 4 inch vice
