    If you have never broken down servers, .40 per pound could loose you money really fast. Keep in mind that they can weigh 80-100lbs or more, and most of that is steel. I pay less for servers than I do for computers, unless they are small 1U blade servers. On the other hand, they sometimes have clean copper heat sinks that can be 1-2 lbs each, and have lots of RAM. I can tell you flat out that the 2850's are not a good buy at .40 per pound. I am not very familiar with the 6850 but I think those are either a 2U or 4U size and might have more goodies inside.
