    Big industrial ac compressors

I have 2 huge 300+ pounds each ac compressors. I was wondering if it was worth breaking them down, or do most yards have a set price for these things. They have a drain plug and the oil is all drained out. Any help is appreciated

If there still usable then sell them for parts, you'll get far more than scrap price.

Shot, not repairable, junk? Cut a hole in one near the power connector and see if they have copper windings. dig a hole in the windings just to make sure they are copper and NOT copper colored aluminum wire.
I have wasted to many cutoff wheels to be fooled again. LOL

Are they Copeland semi-hermatics? If so, the core value is far greater than scrap value.
