    Brown Boards, green boards

    for the past 3 days off and on i have looked forsomething in past post and can find what iam looking for. brown boards are they aways low grade? green boards can they be low grade? i have some green boards that came from a u/v system used in the waste water field. they have a little gold, 10 to 15 ic chips, transfomers. no cpus that i can tell. what would this grade at. on the brown boards can i pull the ic chips and transformers and still sell the board. any advice will help

    I have some heavily populated brown boards out of a marine navigation system that had gold fingers on them i wonder what grade those were

    It has been explained to me all brown boards are low grade. cut the IC chips and gold finger off. Store it and save it thenn throw the board in with low grade. However you could ask some of the forum buyers. Myself I buy ALL brown boards as low grade. I cut the chips and such off as I said.

    Theres always gonna be a brown board out there that can pass as med-grade/ power board.
