Put it in a black trash bag and throw it in the garbage or bury it under your plastic recycling so they don't see it lol.

Lets assume for conversation sake he is buying only 12/3 romex(resedential house wire) How much clean wire would he produce wheh accumulating 10 tons of plastic coating?

I think we would need to know how much a roll of 12/3 weighs(wire only) then weigh it after the plastic is stripped. I myself have no idea what those numbers are, but it would be a heckuva lot of copper.

Can u really get paid for the insulation off of wire Jim. I'm not really looking to sit on any kind of weight, just looking to get rid of the coating without paying. I buy insulated wire/cable whenever I can (rare these days) and always had trouble getting rid of casings. I brought it to a yard that recycled plastic, they told me that they were not interested at all, even for free.

You can get paid for the plastic insulation copper hound. I wasn't kidding. You just need A LOT of it(which is why no one does it haha).... about 10 tons before anyone will even look at it. Really the only other option is in the trash.

I have found out, that on average after burning the insulation off, plastic coated wire weighs up as 1/3rd plastic coating & 2/3rds copper wire.
ie, from 100 Kg plastic coated wire, you would get 33Kg plastic coating & 66Kg copper wire
(in fact, I probably get 33Kgs toxic polluting plastic fumes, 60 Kg copper wire & 6Kg Copper oxides.. if I'm lucky)
